Books.

Sample Projects.

Every so often, an organization needs to tell a story or educate an audience in such depth that only a book or a book-length document will do the job.

Over the years I've written, edited, and produced a number of books for clients, including three organizational histories and two primers on public policy issues. I've also produced longer publications that synthesize a body of knowledge or translate technical studies and issues into plain English.

When I produce a book, I offer related services such as copyright and Library of Congress registration, direct mail distribution, and development of promotional media.

Oregon Forest Resources Institute, Harvest and Regeneration, a background paper to help lay readers understand the methods and trade-offs involved in various silviculture practices in commercial forests.

Weyerhaeuser Company, Commitment to Community, a history of company philanthropy.

Pacific Power & Light, The Pacific Power Story, 75th Anniversary company history.

Public Power Council, Power Planning Primer, a book explaining the role of publicly owned utilities in the Pacific Northwest, and the issues they confront in planning and delivering electric power.
